About Studio 326
The story of Studio 326 is the story of how Meghan became a photographer. It’s deep in the core of every photo she takes. And it’s one that can trigger grief for anyone who has suffered the loss of a baby. So while continuing on, please know Meghan shares this story as her truth. If you or anyone you know has a similar story, never hesitate to reach out for comfort or support through their own loss.
On March 26, 2009, Meghan Boyer’s first son, Henry, was stillborn at 39 weeks. Out of the incredible grief she now faced, she picked up her new digital camera she intended on taking photos of her baby with and began to learn. Over the next months, that camera, and photography, saved her from drowning in pain and grief.
In 2010, Meghan began her photography studio as Meghan Boyer Photography. For years the studio was highly sought after for newborn and family photography, as clients were drawn to Meghan’s classic, simple, natural style. Every time she photographed a newborn, her goal was to create the images every mother wants in the most natural and classic way she could. That timeless style became the signature look for all of Meghan’s photographs.
Meghan stepped away from her studio when pregnant with her 4th son in December 2016. Over the next few years, she spent more time with her sons, Sam, Bo and Wes. Surviving covid, divorce, and multiple struggles, the desire to turn to photography began to niggle in the back of her brain. Finally in 2023, she was ready to come back fully to the studio and knew there was only one way to move forward. As Studio 326. Symbolizing the most important day of her life and honoring the gift Henry gave his mother.
